Wheels stolen from car parked at a Wigan railway station

Police are appealing for witnesses after the wheels were stolen from a car parked at a Wigan railway station.

The windows of an Audi A3 parked at Appley Bridge station were smashed at some point between 7.30am and 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 11.

The car, which was parked on the Wigan-bound platform, was left resting on the floor, which caused further damage.

British Transport Police are investigating what happened and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
