Officers were told a car had pulled up alongside a woman on Borsdane Avenue, Hindley, at around 6pm on Monday and the woman refused to get in.

But a search of the area failed to find either “victim” or “perpetrator” and CCTV drew a blank in shedding more light on the incident either.
