Wigan cocaine peddler sent to prison

A man who admitted having cocaine with intent to supply it and criminal proceeds of £1,840 in cash has been jailed for 30 months.

Liam Connell, 40, of Holly Road, Aspull, appeared before a Bolton judge to plead guilty to the charges but denied possessing the noxious incapacitant spray Pava and this was accepted.

A second man, Don Redcliffe, 44, of Sefton Road, Goose Green, had faced the same charges but these were dropped and he was told he could walk free.
