Wigan magistrates set crown court date for child porn man
A man has been sent for crown court sentence by Wigan magistrates after admitting to possessing pornographic images of children aged as young as eight.
Stephen Gallagher, 57, formerly of Twist Lane, Leigh, but now living in Manchester, pleaded guilty to three offences of making 38 indecent pictures, at varying levels of seriousness.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of 25 prohibited images of children and was bailed until July 25 for sentence at Bolton Crown Court.
Gallagher, with no previous convictions, has to sign the sex offenders register.
