Wigan man arrested after ramming police car in late night chase
It began when officers with Lancashire's Tact Ops spotted a Fiat Punto "in suspicious circumstances" at around 3am.
Officers instructed the Fiat driver to pull over but its driver reverse rammed into the police car before speeding off.

Hide AdPolice gave chase and soon outmanoeuvred the Punto, forcing it to a stop. The driver then tried to flee, this time on foot, but he was swiftly caught and arrested.
A 24-year-old man, Joshua Corless, from Wigan, has been charged with a number of offences and remanded into custody.
He will appear at Preston Magistrates' Court today, charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, failing to provide a breath sample and criminal damage.
Lancashire Police said its officers were not injured in the ramming incident.
