Wigan man denies historical sex assault charge

A Wigan man has denied committing an historical sex assault.

James Armstrong, 34, of Gidlow Lane, Gidlow, stood before Wigan justices to plead not guilty to molesting a woman without her consent on a date between March 21 2006 and March 20 2008. The bench sent the case to be dealt with at Bolton Crown Court. Armstrong was bailed unconditionally until his first appearance on March 24.
