Wigan man in court over drug and driving offences

John Atherton, 35, of Horne Grove, Worsley Mesnes, appeared before Wigan justices to plead not guilty to possessing amphetamine and cannabis and also to driving a VW Golf without a licence and while uninsured. A July 26 trial date was set.
