Hide AdWills’s crimes took place while he was living at both Withinlea Close, Hindley Green, and Woodyear Road on The Wirral over a nine-year period beginning in July 2009.
Prosecutors told a Bolton Crown Court judge that they came to light when he left a USB stick at his former partner’s house, which contained the vile images.
It was found and examined by her shocked and disgusted new partner.
The pen drive was handed over to the police who then executed a search warrant at Wills’s home and seized computer equipment, going on to find further images.
