Wigan man pleads guilty to driving under influence of cocaine

A 16-month driving ban has been imposed by magistrates on a Wigan motorist who was at the wheel under the influence of cocaine.

Kieron Monks, 41, of The Avenue, Billinge, pleaded guilty to having taken the class A drug before driving a Citroen C4 on Vulcan Road, Marsh Green, on July 23.

A victim services surcharge, fine and court costs meant he also has £269 to pay.
