Wigan motorist accused of driving under influence of cocaine

A Wigan man has denied driving while banned and under the influence of drugs.

Anthony Seddon, 56, of Collett Close, Scholes, is accused of having taken both cocaine and cannabis when stopped in a VW Touareg on Manchester Road, Astley, while disqualified from the road.

All the offences are alleged to have happened on January 28. Wigan justices adjourned the case to November 16.
