Wigan motorist caught while four times over the drink-drive limit is banned from the roads

Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court heard that when Jordan Green was stopped in his Fiat 500, police recorded a reading of 153 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The 29-year-old of Liverpool Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, was told that if he takes a course approved by the Secretary of State that ban can be reduced to 36 weeks.

Hide AdBut he must also take part in a 14-day drink-impaired drivers’ course, complete 10 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a victim services surcharge, court costs and fine totalling £300.
