Sean Derbyshire, 19, already an inmate of Forest Bank Prison in Manchester, appeared before a Bolton Crown Court judge to plead guilty to two counts of robbery and two of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a blade.
He will continue to be remanded in custody until his sentencing at the same court on July 13.
