Mitchell Lee Kirkby (29): High Street, Golborne - Drug driving with cocaine in the blood on three occasions, drove without insurance, failed to surrender to custody, possession of cocaine, possession of offensive weapons, namely a metal extendable baton and a machete, in a public place, possession of cannabis: Jailed for six months, suspended for 12 months as a persistent drug driver, disqualified from driving for three years, pay costs of £435 to the Crown Prosecution Service, pay a surcharge to victim services of £115.

David Marsh (33): Linden Avenue, Orrell - Drove a Renault Kangoo without due care and attention on Orrell Road, failed to stop at the scene of an accident: 12-month community order with unpaid work requirement for 140 hours, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, driving record endorsed with 10 points.

Victoria Evans (40): Broom Road, Wigan - Dishonestly failed to promptly notify Wigan Council of a change in circumstances which they knew would affect their entitlement to Housing and Council Tax Benefits, namely that they were living with Paul Evans in a common household: Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 12 months, with the offence being so serious because of an overpayment of £30,000 over a four-year period, rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement for 200 hours, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, pay a surcharge to victim services of £115.

William Threlfall (61): Alder Farm Rivington View, Close Lane, Hindley - Drink driving in a Ford Focus on Atherton Road, Hindley, with 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35 microgrammes: Fined £120, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Gary Francis (43): Parkfields, Abram - Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order given for drink driving: New community order for 12 months with alcohol treatment requirement and curfew for four weeks.

Stephen Robert Cox (50): No fixed address - At Wigan, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements of a Sexual Offences Order and committing an offence while a suspended sentence in operation: Jailed for five months, pay a surcharge to victim services of £115.

Mark James Yeates (47): Warrington Road, Abram - Assaulted Carol Dolan by beating her: Discharged conditionally for two years, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20.

Christopher Kenneth Knowles (32): Mitchell Street, Ince - Having entered as a trespasser at the Royal Oak pub in Standishgate, Wigan, and stole four bags of nuts and damaged a window to the value of approximately £220: Community order for 12 months, be under curfew for six weeks, pay compensation of £220, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, pay a surcharge to victim services of £85.

Matthew Worral-Parkyn (25): Conway Road, Ashton - Used a Ford Transit on Warrington Road, Golborne, without insurance: Driving licence endorsed with six penalty points but no totting up disqualification as takes three children to school and nursery, fined £66, pay a surcharge to victim services of £30.
