A TEENAGER who was found in a Wigan quarry has been named locally as Miracle Godson.
Emergency services were called to Appley Bridge Quarry on Appley Lane North at around 4pm on Friday after reports a 13-year-old boy could not be found and was believed to be in the water.
Lancashire Police later confirmed they had recovered a body.

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) confirmed rapid response vehicles and an air ambulance attended the scene but said the incident was a police matter.
Fire crews are also at the scene.
Lancashire Police is yet to officially confirm the 14-year-old’s identity and a post mortem is expected to take place soon.
