A WIGAN drug dealer who got hooked on cannabis aged 11 has been jailed for 10 months.
Christopher Doyle, 28, was caught with 16 grams of the drug during a police raid on his Valiant Road home in Marsh Green.
Officers also found drug paraphernalia.
They also checked his mobile phone which revealed text messages from 18 customers and he was arrested.
But exactly a month later while he was on bail officers returned to his home in Valiant Road, Marsh Green, Wigan, and this time found cannabis with a street value of £580 and more paraphernalia, said Martine Snowdon, prosecuting.
Doyle, who has previous convictions including one for possessing cannabis, was jailed for ten months. He had admitted two offences of possessing the drug with intent to supply.
Jailing him Judge Denis Watson described it as “a considerable sized operation.”
