WIGAN tots have been having fun in the summer sun in a bid to raise money for a vital children’s charity ... with the help of a well-known TV personality.
Peppa pig visited youngsters at Busy Bees in Marylebone to help raise awareness and funds for Tommy’s Research, which provides help for mothers who experience miscarriage, stillbirth and premature births.
Characters Peppa and George visited the nursery every day for a week to participate in a variety of activities alongside the children.
This allowed the children to continue to gain basic life skills whilst enjoying their day at nursery and learning with play.
Nursery Manager Zoe Davis said: “The children have thoroughly enjoyed the memorable experience and arrived at nursery early each morning, skipping through the door, full of excitement waiting for Peppa and George.
“It’s lovely to feel the buzz of excitement and hearing the children talk about just how much fun they have had - it’s been smiles all round.”
