The winners were announced at a ceremony in Edinburgh and awards were presented by Julie MacDonald, broadcast journalist and presenter.

Coun Jenny Bullen, cabinet member for children and young people said: “It’s absolutely fantastic that Metrofresh have won this award.

“Getting the right nutrition has so many benefits for children and offering a range of food choice is a great chance to give them a taste for fruit and vegetables they may never have discovered.

“I would like to take this opportunity to say thank-you and congratulations to all the staff who work tirelessly to ensure this high-standard of service is continued each day.”
