Help for children affected by Manchester bombing
Support for children following the Manchester Arena bombing will be on offer in the borough this week.
People are being encouraged to attend one of the sessions being held at several locations during half-term.
They will be able to speak to staff from Wigan Council and get advice, information and support.
Adults can find out how to support young people at sessions being held on Wednesday. They will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Central Park, on Montrose Avenue, Kitt Green, and from 2pm to 5pm at Leigh Sports Village.
There are also sessions throughout the week for children who might want to talk to someone.
These will be held at:
Trust in Leigh, 18 Market Street, Leigh, from 1pm to 2.30pm on Wednesday; from 10am to 2.30pm on Thursday; and from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Friday.
Platt Bridge Community Primary School and Start Well Centre, on Rivington Avenue, Platt Bridge, from 10am to 2.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The Venue, Wigan Youth Zone, from 10am to 2.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
