Jenni's delight at award
A tutor has been awarded for her expertise in teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Winstanley College’s Head of Biology, Jenni Burgess Thomas and colleagues were in the packed audience at the Manchester Town Hall when Jenni won the ENTHUSE award for excellence in STEM teaching.
Jenni said: “I’m overjoyed to have won this award. The STEM activities on offer in College are ever-growing and we have a fantastic bunch of students who love getting involved.
“I’m really excited to be going to the national finals which will be hosted in London at The House of Commons.”
