Man accused of three gropings

David Brindle is alleged to have attacked the pensioner in a care home in Bamfurlong on February 15 this year.

The 52-year-old of Enid Place, Bamfurlong, is also facing two charges of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl between April and July last year.

Brindle pleaded not guilty to all three of the offences at a hearing held at Liverpool Crown Court.

He was further remanded on bail by the city’s top judge, Judge Clement Goldstone, QC to await his trial.

This has been scheduled to begin in the week starting Monday October 24.
