A MAN has been charged with the murder of Steven Rourke, whose body was found inside a wheelie bin.
Following three days of questioning, James Anthony Jepson, also known as Kelly, 24, of Bickershaw Lane, Hindley, has been charged with the murder of Steven Rourke, also known as Lynch.
He is now due to appear before Wigan Magistrates Court today.
Two other men, aged 19 and 21, arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail pending further inquiries until June 27.
Mr Rourke, 26, from Bickershaw, was found shortly after 9.20am on Sunday, on open land off Bickershaw Lane.
Following a post-mortem examination, the provisional cause of death is strangulation.
