A YOUNG man has admitted kidnapping three Wigan schoolboys who slept in an allotment greenhouse with him over night.
Gerard Hayward pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to three charges of abducting the 11-year-olds from Platt Bridge between November 28 and December 1 last year.
Police were alerted after the boys bunked off school and met up with the defendant who is a family friend of one of them.
Without family permission, they all travelled by train to Manchester and met up with the kidnapper.
Hayward, of no fixed address, who appeared from prison via video link, was further remanded in custody to await sentence on March 27.
