Man suffers broken jaw after unprovoked assault in Wigan nightclub
A man was knocked out and left with serious facial injuries after he was attacked by a thug while on a night out.
The 27-year-old was callously attacked while enjoying a night out at the Play & Rewind bar on King Street on Sunday April 8.
It was around 4am when he purchased a drink and stood near the front door.
He was then struck to his head, causing him to stagger, and received a second blow that caused him to fall to the floor unconscious.

He has since been released from hospital.
Following enquiries, police established that a white male was seen fleeing the club shortly after the assault wearing dark trousers and a white t-shirt.

“The victim sustained a number of serious facial injuries and may suffer a long term impairment of vision due to the assault.
