Man taken to hospital in serious condition after Wigan town centre incident
Paramedics rushed to Standishgate on Wednesday afternoon (October 7) following the incident.
The man, thought to be in his late 30s, was taken to Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.

Hide AdAmbulance service chiefs said they are unable to confirm the reason for his condition as it was at a private address.
One witness had reported a stabbing outside nearby Starbucks, while others said a man had suffered a heart attack.
A police car and CSI vehicle were also seen outside WH Smith on Standishgate.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We attended an incident on Standishgate, we took a patient to Royal Albert Edward infirmary, who was in a serious condition.
"The patient was a male thought to be in his late 30s. We are unable to confirm the reason for his serious condition."
