Motorway smash causes M6 traffic chaos
A multi-vehicle collision is currently causing huge delays on the M6.
Highways England has reported that the motorway is blocked in both directions between Junction 27 at Standish and Junction 28 at Leyland.
Three vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident.
Long delays are building after the crash which occurred on the Northbound side of the motorway.
Lancashire Police are currently on the scene and are working to clear the collision.
