A WIGAN man accused of murdering his 20-year-old partner appeared has for the first time at Liverpool Crown Court.
Christopher Foley, 23, is charged with the murder of Joanne Harrison who was found at their home in Cameron Place, Worsley Hall, on Sunday, February 1 after being stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors.
Despite efforts by paramedics to save the mother-of-one who died later at Wigan Infirmary.
Foley, who appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from Walton prison, did not apply for bail and was further remanded in custody until May 1 when he is expected to enter his plea.
A date for a trial, expected to last five days, was fixed to begin on July 13.
