New appeal to trace surviving relatives of Wigan borough 56-year-old

Police have made a fresh appeal for the public’s help in tracing the next of kin of a man who died in the summer.

Tracy Cook, 56, passed away at his home address on Findlay Street, Leigh on Thursday June 18.

There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Officers first asked for public help just days after he died, but have so far not received any information helpful for tracking down surviving relatives.

Now, following the opening of an inquest into Mr Cook's death at Bolton Coroner's Court last Friday, another attempt has been made.

Anyone with information about Tracy’s next of kin should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Bolton on 0161 856 4687.
