OAP awaits child sex abuse trial

A 78-YEAR-old man facing 14 charges involving sexually abusing two young girls has appeared before Liverpool Crown Court.

Donald Cameron, of Hallcroft, Skelmersdale, denied all the charges, which date back two decades, and is to face trial beginning on August 5.

It is alleged that Cameron indecently assaulted one of the girls beginning when she was just three years old and until she was eight.

It is claimed that he indecently assaulted the other girl when she was aged between nine and 13 years.

Judge Thomas Teague, QC further remanded Cameron on bail to await trial.
