POOR Katie White has been suffering from bronchitis.

The Lowton-born singer, who forms one half of The Ting Tings, was forced to cancel their show in Bristol last week after she fell ill.

A post on their Twitter page read: “Have some (bad) news.

“The Trinity Bristol gig is off. Katie is suffering from Bronchitis. We’ll make it up to you as soon as we can.”

Meanwhile, the pop duo are to perform live on Alan Carr’s New Year Specstacular show, to be shown on Channel 4 on December 31.

Other guests to take part on the fun-filled show include Jonathan Ross, Melanie Sykes, fashion guru Gok Wan, Kirstie Allsopp, Alesha Dixon, and boyband JLS.

They have also be confirmed as one of the first artists announced for the inaugural Midem Festival in Cannes, which takes place from January 28 to 30.

The festival will be open to Midem attendees and the general public.
