Pair face trial for serious assualt
Two men have denied seriously injuring another man in an attack in Wigan.
Geoffrey Cunliffe and Daniel Eckersall both pleaded not guilty to causing Eric Caddick grievous bodily harm with intent in Wigan on November 25 last year.
Eckersall, 32, of Withington Lane, Aspull, and Cunliffe, 47, of no fixed address, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from Forest Bank prison.
Both were further remanded in custody by a judge to await their trial which is scheduled to take place in the week beginning on Monday May 23.
