Christmas Eve joy as neighbours on a Wigan street win lottery cash

Residents on Ramsden Close, in Worsley Mesnes, landed the windfall when WN3 5XB was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery.

Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “A big congratulations to our winners, what a great surprise to get on Christmas Eve! I hope they have a lovely festive holiday and enjoy their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600m for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of children's charity NSPCC, which has received more than £5.2m thanks to players.
