'Faithful' member of the Salvation Army in Wigan dies
Paul Kennedy was described as a "faithful" member of Wigan Salvation Army by those who knew him.
He led Wigan Corps while it was unofficered and proudly carried the flag when it was needed, as well as being a member of musical group the Songsters.

Hide AdIn a heartfelt post on Facebook, The Salvation Army, Wigan Corps said: "Paul was a faithful member of Wigan Salvation Army and was not afraid to offer his time and energy in God's service.
"He was the Corps Treasurer for a number of years and also led Wigan Corps while it was unofficered. He also would proudly carry the flag when it was needed and he was a member of the Songsters.
"We remember in prayer Paul's brother, Michael and Paul's friends at this time. Well done, good and faithful servant."
Paul's funeral will take place at Wigan Crematorium in Ince on Friday (February 26) at 1pm.
