Handful of Wigan eateries earn fresh hygiene ratings
and live on Freeview channel 276
We may not be able to enjoy their food for the foreseeable future, but a handful of Wigan eateries are proudly boasting top hygiene marks heading into another lockdown.
The national lockdown in November forced the majority of food-serving businesses into closure, although many across Greater Manchester had already been shuttered after the city region was placed into Tier 3 in late October.

Hide AdThe restrictions meant only a small number of businesses were scrutinised by hygiene inspectors in the penultimate month of the year.
All ratings were correct on the Food Standards Agency as of January 2021:
