Inspiring lyrics get care home staff dancing in motivational clip

Staff at Garswood House in Ashton relieved some of the pressure on themselves by putting together this short video, dancing to the tune of This Time For Africa by Shakira, which features the apt lyrics:

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off and back in the saddle

Everyone's watching

You know it's serious we're getting closer, this isn't over

The pressure is on

And the video is adorned with the poignant and defiant message: "We've got this."

Mark Samspon, whose daughter Demi (centre) and wife Julie (second left) feature in the video, said: "Demi is only 18 and only started just before the virus and Julie is working almost every day some times double shifts, all while running short of PPE."

He added: "I'm very proud and love them both."
