Lottery joy as four neighbours win £1,000 each in New Year draw

Neighbours on Phaeton Close, Atherton, landed the windfall when M46 0SF was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery daily prize winner on Friday.

Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “Congratulations to our winners, what a lovely way to start the year! I hope they enjoy their winnings and go treat themselves to something special.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600m for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Crisis, which has received more than £5.7m in funding thanks to players. The charity is dedicated to ending homelessness and throughout the year helps approximately 10,000 people in England, Scotland and Wales.
