Wiganers have reacted with horror after a pony was stolen from a Wigan yard and found dead less than 24 hours later tied to a tree with a rope around its neck.
Phoenix was taken on Sunday between 4pm and 7pm, 'tied to a tree' where it apparently strangled itself trying to break free and online reaction has not surprisingly been of shock, horror and grief.
