Sarah, 41, who set up the home business seven years ago, said she is doing deliveries while people can also make collections.

Speaking as the Wigan Observer’s #supportwigan campaign continues to promote and support businesses, she said: “I usually have a stall at Standish Christmas Market but obviously can’t do that this year which has an impact and we had a lot of wedding cakes booked in which have had to be cancelled, both of which have an effect on income and getting our name out there.

“So I’ve been pushing more with the deliveries and people collecting from home.

“I’m doing lots of different cakes and cupcakes and I’ll be doing Christmas Eve treat boxes so families can get into their pyjamas and watch a Christmas film while enjoying our goodies.”

She fully supports the #supportwigan campaign, saying it was important to support local businesses.

She said: “We need everyone to look out for local businesses and support them.

“We really need everyone’s help and to pull together this Christmas as a lot of businesses have lost so much this year and are struggling, so campaigns like this help.”

Brownies and blondies are £9 a tray, gingerbread houses filled with marshmallows for £20, Christmas fruit cakes 6” for £30 and Christmas Eve treat boxes for £19. People can pay by bank transfer or cash.
