Phil Sharkey, PE Coordinator at St Andrew’s says the virtual offer has provided many benefits to his

pupils.

“The virtual lessons are a great way to stay connected to the coaches at Wigan Athletic Community Trust and the Primary Stars programme,” he said.

“The Community Trust have provided us with constant support and the lessons are a real benefit to the children who have really engaged in the lessons.”

Alongside a virtual offer, some staff are continuing to provide high quality PE delivery in selected primary schools for youngsters who remain in school.

The virtual offer is open to all primary schools and delivered free of charge.

There is limited capacity so schools are encouraged book early to avoid disappointment.
