Wigan's own Robbie Williams entertains us with online gigs

Lee Michaels is one of the countless performers across the country who has had their livelihoods ruined by the nationwide lockdown measures, which have forced all non-essential businesses to close, including pubs, clubs and performances venues.

Lee, who performs as the Ultimate Robbie Williams Tribute Act, usually has a jam-packed schedule of bookings but has lost out on thousands of pounds in income so far since the lockdown began/

But he has still been performing each Saturday on Facebook Live, spending an hour performing some of Robbie's greatest hits as well as other popular tracks to keep everyone entertained - particularly key workers and NHS staff. And he's had many messages of thanks from frontline staff including midwives and nurses.

Lee said: "I've done the past three Saturdays online on Facebook Live for an hour each, of different songs as well as Robbie songs for all NHS staff and midwives,and keyworkers.

"I've had a few nice messages saying thanks Lee for making them happy and entertaining them, from midwives and NHS Wigan."
