Pictures: Sun blazes down on village fete

The sun blazed down on what organisers called the 'biggest Shevington fete yet.'

The annual event returned at the weekend to be held at various locations around the village including the recreation ground, St Anne’s Parish Centre and Shevington Youth Club.

There were more than 60 stalls for visitors to peruse along with football tournaments, games, rides, crafts, food and live music.

Hundreds of people flocked to the attractions over the five hours the fete was held.

The event was organised by Shevington and District Community Association.
