POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man who indecently exposed himself.

At around 4.45pm on Thursday, October 17, a man was seen to indecently expose himself on a footpath behind a house on Wateredge Close.

An occupant of one of the houses shouted at him from the window and he ran off towards Pennington Flash in Leigh.

The man is described as being aged in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 9in tall, very slim with dark blonde, short shaved hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a royal blue hooded top and a light coloured t-shirt.

Police are now appealing for information.

PC Barrie Willans said: “We are asking the public to look at the image and get in touch if you recognise him.

“We would also ask people in the area to remain vigilant and report anyone acting suspiciously.”

Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 7225 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
