POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they want to question in relation to a burglary at a house in Wigan.

An offender broke into an address on Finchley Crescent in New Springs and stole a handbag before leaving some time between 1.30am and 3.45am on Sunday, June 7.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have now issued a still image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident after spotting him on CCTV.

The man is described as being white, of slim build, had short dark hair, aged in his late 20s or early 30s. He had a slight moustache and a possible scar to the lower side of his left cheek.

PC Roy Lunio said: “We have searched local CCTV and have found the image of a man we are keen to speak to in connection with the incident. If you recognise him, I would ask you to contact police as soon as possible.”
