POLICE have recovered drugs with a street value of £20,000 following a raid on a house.
What officers describe as a significant amount of cocaine and cannabis were seized from the address in Maple Crescent, Leigh, when a search warrant was executed on Friday March 13.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.
He has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
PC Paul O’Donnell said: “Thanks to information received from the local community, an arrest was made.
“This goes to show residents will not put up with such actions and are determined to help us rid the streets of drugs.
“I would ask anyone who may know where drugs are being dealt or produced to contact police as soon as possible.”
