Police release CCTV image of robbery at bookmakers
Shortly before 9.10pm on Tuesday, May 31, police were called to a report of a robbery at Labrokes in Gerard Street.
A man, who was wearing a black mask, brandished a knife and demanded money from a cashier before making off with a quantity of cash.

Hide AdHe ran down the main road and then went down a small alleyway at the side of Fabulous Feet Chiropodists which leads to Heath Road.
The offender is described as white, about 6ft, with brown eyes, in his mid-20s, with a local accent and was wearing dark bottoms, a black hooded top, black fleece gloves and was carrying a white drawstring bag with black writing on it.
Detective Constable Cameron Hackett, from GMP’s Wigan borough, said: “Anyone who recognises the man pictured is urged to call police.
“This would have been an extremely frightening ordeal for the cashier and we are following a number of enquiries to find the culprit.”
