POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man after a woman saw a flasher indecently exposing himself.

The incident occurred as the 47-year-old woman was walking along Liverpool Road towards Hindley town centre at around 6.50am on Tuesday October 6.

As she approached the former job centre building, she noticed a man stood in the gateway, indecently exposing himself.

The man is described as being white, 5ft 4in tall, in his mid-40s and of medium build, with a round, clean shaven face. He wore black framed glasses, a black woolly hat, a dark blue three quarter length jacket which had two large pockets and dark-coloured trousers.

PC Chris Waddicar said: “The victim has helped us create an e-fit and I would ask anyone who may have seen this man walking off around the same time as the incident to call police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information should phone police on 0161 856 7964 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
