Police try to trace family of Wigan borough 77-year-old following his death at home

The public are being asked for help in tracking down relatives of a Wigan borough pensioner.

Dennis Gordon Chadwick, aged 77, died at his home in Manchester Road, Tyldesley, on Wednesday January 25.

Census 2021: a fifth of people living with disabilities in Wigan

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death but so far police have been unable to locate any next of kin.

Anyone who knows whether Mr Chadwick had any surviving relatives and where they might now be is asked to contact the Police Coroner's Office in Bolton on 0161 856 4687.
