A STUN gun was among items recovered from a Wigan house during a police raid.
Officers from Hindley Neighbourhood Policing Unit executed a search warrant at an address in Medlock Way, Platt Bridge, assisted by specialised search officers from the Tactical Aid Unit.
During the search a quantity of suspected stolen property, including satellite navigation systems and compressors were recovered, along with a tazer stun gun.
A 52-year-old woman, said to be a tenant of the address, along with a 22-year-old man were arrested at the address on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Sgt Dave Johnston from the unit said: “The Neighbourhood Team responded to information passed, and were successful in recovering property which we believe to be stolen.
“The recovery of the tazer was also a very good result, as it takes a dangerous weapon off the streets, and out of the hands of people who may use them in crime.”
