Still time to bid in rugby art auction
Mark Calderwood and Michael McIlorum feature in a special piece of artwork “Where There’s A Will There’s A Way”, which has been created by well known Northern impressionist artist, Bob Barker.
The rugby stars appear alongside Bob’s nephew, William in his rugby playing days at Stanningley ARLFC. William was diagnosed with a brain tumour and the charity Will’s Way was set up to help young people diagnosed with brain tumours and their families.

Hide AdTo raise much-needed funds for the charity, Bob’s original artwork is being auctioned online and potential donors have until 7pm tomorrow (Sunday) to bid.
In addition to this, there are also limited edition prints available to buy with a percentage of proceeds also going to the charity.
Bob said: “Two of my main focuses that I present through my art are the themes of family and sport, which are emulated in this work.
“With my nephew Will and many other young people struggling, I believe that they must take some relief in things that provide enjoyment. In Will’s case, this was rugby. I’m already overwhelmed at the response we have received so far.”
