AN ELDERLY woman was treated by paramedics after a collision involving as many as 10 other cars in a Tesco car park.
The incident happened at the Tesco Extra superstore on Central Park Way at around 9.40am this morning (Wednesday).
The North West Ambulance Service and officers from Greater Manchester Police were called after reports of a collision between a car and several other stationary vehicles in the car park.
The 79-year-old driver complained to paramedics of feeling faint and was given a check-up at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police enquiries into the incident have now begun. The store was able to remain open throughout the incident, and the scene had returned to normal by early afternoon.
