WIGAN fans are urged to show their support for schoolboy Henry Gallagher as he makes his bid to perform in front of the Queen tonight.
The 12-year-old from Standish has made it through to the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent and he needs your votes to send him to the final on Sunday May 31. The winner will perform at the Royal Variety Show later this year.

Following his successful audition of his own song Lightning, dedicated to a girl he has a crush on, Henry got four yeses from the judges and, as seen on Saturday’s ITV show, following deliberation, he earned a spot in the first of the five live semi-finals.
The Standish High School pupil said: “I am a bit nervous about tonight – there are so many things that can go wrong, but my mum is more nervous than me. I just can’t wait to go out and perform.
“I think my toughest competition is the golden buzzer acts, as they are the judges’ favourites.
“It would be amazing to get to the final and if I won, it was be absolutely incredible because it would mean the public like me.
“Please vote for me as I would love to get to the final so much. I am so grateful for all the support I have had so far, as I could not have done this without Wigan’s support.
“I have done gigs in Believe Square and on the pitches for Latics and Warriors - it has been amazing.”
Giving Henry great support is his mum, music teacher, Marie, and sister Ellen, who got through to the live semi finals with girlband Be Minor in 2011.
Marie said: “We are hoping everybody votes for Henry so he gets through to the final. This is such a fantastic opportunity for him.
“He has not asked out the girl that he wrote Lightning out yet though - he feels quite shy about it, but he has written another song for her.
“I don’t know her but I’ve seen her picture on Facebook and he’s told me about her. It’s all anyone’s been talking about at his school, there are about 80 to 100 girls in his year and I think they are all wondering who it is.
“But it’s hard to ask a girl out when you’re 12. If he did ask her out it would be really cute.”
Watch Britain’s Got Talent on ITV tonight at 7.30pm to vote and at 9.30pm for the results.
